Vacancy Details

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for GSSSB Female Health Worker Recruitment 2026 must have passed the Secondary or Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination from a recognised board or must possess an equivalent qualification recognised by the government.
In addition, candidates must have completed the Female Health Workers Basic Training Course recognised by the government or the Auxiliary Nurse Midwife Course recognised by the government. Candidates must also be registered with the Gujarat Nursing Council.
Applicants must possess basic knowledge of computer applications as prescribed under the Gujarat Civil Services rules. They should also have adequate knowledge of Gujarati, Hindi or both.
Age Limit
The age of the candidate will be calculated as on June 20, 2026. The candidate should not be below 18 years and should not be above 40 years.
Divyang female candidates will receive age relaxation as per the rules mentioned in the notification. The maximum age limit after relaxation will not exceed 45 years.
Salary Details
Selected candidates will receive a fixed monthly salary of ₹26,000 for the first five years.
After completion of five years, subject to satisfactory service and applicable government rules, candidates may be considered for regular appointment in the pay scale of ₹19,900 to ₹63,200, Level-2 under the seventh pay commission structure.
