GSRTC Driver Recruitment Eligibility Details
Candidates planning to apply for GSRTC Driver Bharti 2026 must carefully verify the eligibility conditions before submitting the online form.
Educational Qualification
Applicants must have passed Class 12 (10+2) from a recognised board. Certain equivalent qualifications recognised by the Gujarat Government are also acceptable.
Age Limit
The prescribed age limit is:
- Minimum Age: 25 Years
- Maximum Age: 35 Years
Reserved category candidates will receive age relaxation as per government norms. The maximum age after all relaxations cannot exceed 45 years.
Physical Standards

GSRTC Driver Salary 2026
Selected candidates will initially be appointed on a contractual basis.
GSRTC has fixed the monthly salary at ₹26,000 for the first five years. After satisfactory completion of the contractual period, candidates may become eligible for regular appointment under the prevailing corporation rules.
Selection Process
The GSRTC Driver Recruitment 2026 selection process consists of two stages:
OMR Written Examination
All applicants will be called for a 100-mark objective-type OMR examination.
