The Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) has announced the detailed syllabus and exam pattern for the recruitment of Conductors. Candidates preparing for the GSRTC Conductor Recruitment 2026 examination should carefully understand the latest subject-wise syllabus, marking scheme, question distribution, and selection process before beginning their preparation.

According to the official notification, the recruitment process will be conducted through an OMR-based competitive written examination carrying 100 marks. The written test will play a decisive role in determining the merit list, as the entire selection process is based on marks obtained in the written examination.

The notification confirms that negative marking will be applicable.

A unique feature of the examination is that candidates who do not wish to attempt a question can select Option ‘E’. In such cases, no negative marks will be deducted.
