Candidates should not wait until the closing date because the commission has advised applicants to submit the online application well before the last date. Hall tickets will be available seven days before the examination and can be downloaded up to 5:00 PM on the previous day of the examination.
Eligibility Criteria And Age Limit
For TSPSC AEE Civil Recruitment 2026, candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised university or institution, or an equivalent AMIE qualification as stated in the notification.
For TSPSC AEE Electrical Recruitment 2026, candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering from a recognised university or institution, or an AMIE qualification.
For the Assistant Environmental Engineer post, candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, Bio-Technology, Mining or Environmental Engineering. Candidates with B.Tech/B.E in any branch, along with a PG Degree in Environmental Engineering, are also eligible.
The age limit for all three posts is 18 to 44 years as on July 1, 2026. The upper age limit has been raised from 34 years to 44 years as per the government order mentioned in the notifications.
Application Fee And Exam Fee
The online application processing fee is Rs 1,000 for OC and BC applicants. For SC, ST and PwD applicants, the application processing fee is Rs 500.
Each applicant also has to pay Rs 120 as an examination fee. However, unemployed applicants are exempt from paying the examination fee. Government employees, including Central, State, PSU, Corporation and other government sector employees, have to pay the prescribed exam fee.
The fee must be paid online through the available payment gateways after submission of the application details. The commission has clearly stated that the fee once paid will not be refunded or adjusted under any circumstances.
TSPSC AEE Selection Process
The selection process for TSPSC AEE Recruitment 2026 will be based on an objective-type written examination conducted by the Telangana Public Service Commission. The commission may conduct the examination either in OMR-based offline mode or Computer-Based Recruitment Test mode, and the final mode will be mentioned through a web note, press note or hall ticket.
Candidates must appear for the recruitment examination as per the schedule announced by the commission. If the test is conducted in multiple sessions, the commission may apply normalisation to adjust variation across question papers, and results may be announced on a percentile basis after normalisation.
Final selection will depend on the candidate’s performance in the written examination, subject to eligibility, reservation rules, document verification and other conditions mentioned in the official notification. The commission has also clarified that information published on its official website will be treated as final for recruitment-related communication.
How To Apply For TSPSC AEE Recruitment 2026
Candidates must apply online through the Telangana Public Service Commission website. Those who have not completed One Time Registration must first complete the OTR process and obtain the TGPSC ID. Candidates who already have an OTR ID can directly access the application form using their TGPSC ID and date of birth.
After login, candidates need to verify details fetched from the OTR database, including name, date of birth, educational qualification, community, gender, disability, ex-servicemen and sports details. They must then select the examination centre, preview the application, save it and proceed to payment.
After successful payment, a PDF application form will be generated. Candidates should download and keep the submitted application form safely because the Reference ID printed on it will be required for future correspondence.
