| Paper | Timing |
|---|---|
| Paper-I | 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM |
| Paper-II | 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM |
The official examination programme mentions only 5 July 2026 as the examination date. No separate examination date has been notified for 6 July in the latest RSSB notice.
Important OMR Rule: Fifth Option ‘E’ Introduced
One of the most important instructions in the notification relates to answer marking on the OMR sheet.
RSSB has informed candidates that every question will contain five options. The first four options (A, B, C and D) will represent possible answers, while the fifth option ‘E’ will be used when a candidate chooses not to answer a question. Candidates who do not wish to attempt a question must darken the circle corresponding to option E.
Negative Marking Warning for Unanswered Questions
The board has also reiterated the mandatory fifth-option policy.
If a candidate leaves all five options blank for a question, one-third (1/3) mark will be deducted. This instruction is crucial because many candidates lose marks by leaving questions completely unmarked.
Candidates May Be Disqualified in This Situation
RSSB has further warned that if a candidate fails to darken any option in more than 10 per cent of the total questions, the candidate may be declared ineligible for evaluation of the examination.
To help candidates verify that every question has been marked appropriately, the board will provide an additional 10 minutes at the end of the examination.
Photo Verification Alert for Candidates
The board has issued a special advisory regarding identity verification.
Candidates whose photograph on the identity card is more than three years old should update it before the examination. RSSB has stated that the photograph printed on the admit card must match the photograph on the original identity document. Any mismatch may lead to denial of entry into the examination centre.
How to Download Rajasthan LDC Admit Card
RSSB has confirmed that the provisional e-admit card will be made available through the board’s website. The board will separately notify the date for downloading admit cards. No physical admit cards will be sent to candidates by post.

What Candidates Should Do Next
With the examination date officially fixed for 5 July 2026, candidates should now focus on revision, mock tests, and OMR-based practice. They should also verify their identity documents, keep track of admit card announcements, and carefully follow the board’s instructions regarding the mandatory fifth option on the OMR sheet.
The latest RSSB notice leaves no ambiguity regarding the schedule; the Rajasthan LDC and Junior Assistant Combined Recruitment Examination 2026 will be conducted on 5 July 2026, with Paper-I in the morning session and Paper-II in the afternoon session.
