Haryana High Court Clerk Vacancy 2026 Details

The recruitment notification has been issued for 1265 Clerk vacancies. Out of these, 1015 posts are available as on December 31, 2025, while 250 anticipated posts are expected up to June 30, 2026.

The vacancy list includes posts for General, Scheduled Castes of Haryana, Backward Classes, EWS, Eligible Sports Person, Ex-servicemen, and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities categories. The number of vacancies may increase or decrease depending on the actual vacancy position at the time of merit list preparation and posting.

For the General category, there are 141 existing posts and 62 anticipated posts. The EWS category has 113 existing posts and 26 anticipated posts, while Eligible Sports Person category has 25 existing posts and 7 anticipated posts.

Punjab and Haryana High Court Clerk Eligibility 2026

Candidates applying for the Punjab Haryana High Court Clerk Recruitment 2026 must possess a graduation degree. The official notice states that the applicant should have a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, or equivalent degree from a recognised university.

Scheduled Caste and Backward Class candidates of Haryana get a relaxation of 5 years, making the upper age limit 47 years. In-service employees can apply up to the age of 45 years, while certain women candidates, including unmarried, widowed, legally divorced, and judicially separated women, are eligible up to 47 years.

For PwBD candidates, age relaxation is available as per the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016. However, the upper age limit after all applicable relaxations, except for Ex-servicemen, cannot exceed 52 years.

Candidates must pay the application fee online. The fee is non-refundable, and the application form will be considered submitted only after successful payment.

For male and female candidates belonging to SC, BC-A, BC-B, ESM, and EWS categories of Haryana, the total fee is Rs 710. Persons with Benchmark Disabilities of Haryana are exempted from paying the fee.

For all other male candidates, the total fee is Rs 1200, while for all other female candidates, the fee is Rs 875. Candidates should carefully verify their category before fee payment, as changes will not be allowed later.

Selection Process for Punjab and Haryana High Court Clerk Recruitment 2026

The selection process for the High Court of Punjab and Haryana Clerk Recruitment 2026 will include an online written examination, Computer Proficiency Test, and document checking/interaction. The written exam will be conducted as a computer-based test.

The CBT will carry 100 marks and will include General Knowledge and English Composition. The paper duration will be 2 hours. General Knowledge will have 50 objective questions of 1 mark each. English Composition will include both objective and subjective parts.

The English Composition section will include objective questions and descriptive tasks such as essay writing, letter writing, precis writing, and translation from Hindi to English. Candidates must note that negative marking will apply in the objective portion, and one-fourth mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
