The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has officially released the much-awaited Haryana CET Group D Notification 2026 under Advertisement No. 05/2026. The notification opens the door for lakhs of candidates seeking Group D government jobs in Haryana.
As per the official schedule, online registration starts on June 19, 2026, while the last date to submit applications is July 3, 2026. Candidates will be able to make fee payments until July 6, and a correction window will remain available from July 7 to July 9.
The CET score will serve as the primary basis for future Group D recruitment processes conducted by HSSC. Instead of applying separately for each vacancy notification, candidates will first qualify the Common Eligibility Test and then participate in subsequent recruitment stages based on their CET merit.

What is Haryana CET Group D?
The Common Eligibility Test (CET) is a state-level examination conducted by HSSC for recruitment to various Group D posts across Haryana government departments, boards, corporations and autonomous bodies.
Candidates who clear the CET are included in the merit list, following which HSSC invites willingness and applications for specific Group D vacancies as and when departments notify posts.
Haryana CET Group D Eligibility 2026
Educational Qualification
For most Group D posts, candidates must possess:
- Matriculation (10th Pass) from a recognised board.
- Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects up to the Matric level.
However, separate qualifications may apply for certain posts, such as Sweeper, Chowkidar and Sweeper-cum-Chowkidar, whenever detailed vacancies are announced.
Age Limit
Applicants must satisfy the following age criteria:

An important rule candidates should remember is that every question must be marked. If a candidate leaves a question unanswered and fails to mark the fifth option, one mark may be deducted.

Group D Posts to be Announced Separately
A major highlight of the notification is that HSSC has not yet released the detailed list of Group D vacancies. The commission has clarified that post-wise details will be published separately.
This means candidates should complete their CET registration first and await future vacancy notifications from various departments.
Documents Required for Haryana CET Group D Application
Candidates should keep the following documents ready:
- Matriculation Certificate
- Recent passport-size photograph
- Signature
- Haryana domicile certificate (where applicable)
- Category certificate (SC, DSC, OSC, BC-A, BC-B, EWS etc.)
- PwBD certificate (if applicable)
- Ex-serviceman certificate (if applicable)
- Sports Gradation Certificate (ESP candidates)
- Undertaking as prescribed by HSSC
The commission has clearly stated that only documents uploaded during application submission will be considered during scrutiny.
Haryana HSSC CET Group D 2026 Application Process
Candidates must apply online only through the Haryana One Time Registration portal. HSSC has clearly stated that no offline form or downloaded copy of the application form will be accepted.
- Visit the official HSSC/OTR portal: onetimeregn.haryana.gov.in
- Register on the portal using basic personal details.
- Candidates already registered for CET Advt. No. 1/2022 or CET Advt. No. 1/2025 must use their existing CET Registration Number.
- Fill in personal, educational, category and reservation details carefully.
- Upload scanned documents from original certificates.
- Upload a latest coloured photograph with a white background. The candidate’s name and photograph date must be clearly printed on it.
- Upload the scanned signature and mandatory undertaking.
- Review all details before final submission.
- Pay the application fee online, if applicable.
- Submit the form and download/print the final application form for future reference.
Important Application Rules
Candidates must not submit multiple registrations. If a candidate submits multiple registrations and appears more than once, the candidature will be cancelled, and the candidate may be debarred.
Only documents uploaded at the time of application will be considered for eligibility and scrutiny. After the final submission, HSSC will not allow changes except during the official correction window from 7 July to 9 July 2026.
