JSSC JTGLCCE Eligibility 2026
For JSSC JTGLCCE eligibility, candidates must hold the required educational qualification by the last date of online application. The qualification varies by post, so applicants should not apply based only on general graduation status.
For Assistant Entomologist, candidates need a postgraduate degree in Zoology with Entomology. For Assistant Vector Borne Disease Control Officer and Inspector posts, graduation in Science is required. For Block Statistical Supervisor/Junior Statistical Assistant/Investigator, candidates must have a graduation degree with Mathematics, Economics or Statistics.
Dairy Technical Officer requires a degree in Dairy Technology or Dairy Science or equivalent qualification. Fisheries Extension Supervisor requires graduation in Fisheries Science or Zoology Honours. Auditor posts require graduation in Mathematics, Economics, Commerce or Statistics.
For Junior Scientific Assistant, candidates need a recognised degree or postgraduate qualification in Science, Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Chemistry or Medicine, along with the experience conditions mentioned in the official notice. Laboratory Assistant posts require Honours graduation in Physics or Chemistry from a UGC-recognised institution.
Age Limit For JSSC JTGLCCE Recruitment 2026
The minimum age limit is 21 years. The age will be calculated as on 1 August 2025.
For the upper age limit, unreserved and EWS candidates can apply up to 35 years. Extremely Backward Class and Backward Class male candidates can apply up to 37 years. Women candidates from unreserved, EWS, EBC and BC categories can apply up to 38 years. SC and ST candidates, both male and female, can apply up to 40 years.
PwD candidates will get an additional relaxation of 10 years, while ex-servicemen will get an additional relaxation of 5 years as per the rules mentioned in the notification.
Application Fee
The application fee for JSSC JTGLCCE Recruitment 2026 is ₹100. For Scheduled Tribe and Scheduled Caste candidates of Jharkhand, the examination fee is ₹50.
Candidates with 40% or more benchmark disability from Jharkhand are eligible for fee exemption as per the conditions given in the brochure. The examination fee is non-refundable.
JSSC JTGLCCE Selection Process 2026
The JSSC JTGLCCE selection process 2026 will be conducted through OMR or CBT-based examination. If the examination is held in multiple groups, normalisation will be applied, and the merit list will be prepared on the basis of normalised marks.
The exam process may include a Preliminary Examination and a Main Examination. However, if the number of candidates is below 50,000, the commission may generally skip the preliminary examination and conduct the main examination directly.
All questions will be objective and multiple-choice based. Each correct answer will carry 3 marks, while 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.

After registration, log in again, fill in personal and educational details, upload the required scanned documents and pay the examination fee. After fee payment, upload the scanned photograph and full signature, submit the form and take a printout for future use.
Candidates should verify their name, date of birth, father’s name and other details with their Class 10 certificate before submitting the application.
