The Karnataka State Police (KSP) has released a major recruitment notification for Civil Police Constable (CPC) posts across the state. Candidates who have completed PUC/Class 12 and are looking for a government job in the police department can now apply for nearly four thousand vacancies announced by the Karnataka Police.

According to the official notification issued on 05 June 2026, a total of 3,991 Civil Police Constable vacancies have been notified. Out of these, 3,395 posts are available under the Residual Parent Cadre (RPC) quota, while 596 posts have been reserved for candidates belonging to the Kalyana Karnataka region.

RPC Civil Police Constable Vacancies

A total of 3,395 vacancies have been announced under the Residual Parent Cadre category.

Kalyana Karnataka Civil Police Constable Vacancies

A total of 596 vacancies have been reserved for eligible candidates belonging to the Kalyana Karnataka region.

Combined, Karnataka Police will fill 3,991 Civil Police Constable posts through this recruitment process.

Karnataka Police Constable Eligibility 2026

Candidates must have passed:

  • PUC (Class 12)
  • CBSE Class 12
  • ISC Class 12
  • Equivalent Higher Secondary qualification recognised by the government

Candidates possessing higher qualifications can also apply, provided they meet all other recruitment conditions.

Karnataka Police Constable Age Limit 2026

Karnataka Police Constable Salary 2026

Selected candidates will receive pay in the scale of:

₹37,500 – ₹76,100

Apart from the basic pay, eligible employees will also receive allowances and benefits applicable under Karnataka Government service rules.

  • Shot Put (7.26 kg) – 5.60 m (minimum, 3 chances)

Female Candidates

  • 400 Meter Run – 2 Minutes
  • High Jump – 0.90 m (minimum)
  • Long Jump – 2.50 m (minimum, 3 chances)
  • Shot Put (4 kg) – 3.75 m (minimum, 3 chances)
Document Verification

Candidates clearing PST and ET will be called for document verification before final selection.
