The Central Selection Board of Constables, Bihar has revised the written examination date for the Bihar Police Constable Operator Recruitment 2026. The exam, which was earlier scheduled for 21 June 2026, will now be conducted on 28 June 2026.
The update applies to CSBC Advt. No. 02/2026, under which recruitment is being conducted for 993 Constable Operator posts in the Bihar Police Telecommunication and Technical Non-Gazetted Cadre. Candidates who applied for the recruitment should now follow the revised exam schedule and admit card timeline issued by the board.
According to the CSBC notice dated 26 May 2026, the exam date was changed because the postponed NEET UG 2026 examination by the National Testing Agency is also scheduled to be held on 21 June 2026. CSBC said the change has been made in the wider interest of candidates, keeping the national-level examination in view.

The revised schedule is important for all candidates because CSBC has clearly stated that entry into the examination centre will be allowed only on the basis of the e-Admit Card issued by the board.
Why CSBC Changed the Bihar Police Constable Operator Exam Date
CSBC had earlier issued information regarding the written examination and e-admit card for the Constable Operator recruitment through its notice dated 20 May 2026. As per that earlier schedule, the written examination was to be held on 21 June 2026.
However, the board has now revised the date after considering the rescheduled NEET UG 2026 examination. Since NEET UG is a national-level examination and was also fixed for 21 June 2026, CSBC moved the Constable Operator written test to the next Sunday, 28 June 2026.
This change gives candidates a clear revised timeline for preparation, travel planning and admit card download. Candidates should not rely on old exam-date information now, as the valid exam date for CSBC Constable Operator Advt. No. 02/2026 is 28 June 2026.
CSBC Constable Operator Admit Card 2026: Download Date Confirmed
The board has also confirmed the admit card download schedule. Candidates appearing in the Bihar Police Constable Operator written test will be able to download their e-Admit Card from 22 June 2026.
The admit card download facility will remain available until 11:00 AM on 28 June 2026, which is the exam day. Candidates should not wait until the last day, as heavy website traffic or login issues may create problems close to the examination.
To download the admit card, candidates will need their registration number or application details, registered mobile number and date of birth. The admit card will include key details such as candidate name, roll number, exam centre, district, reporting time, exam timing and important instructions.
Exam Centre District Details Available From June 15
Before the admit card download begins, candidates will be able to check their exam date and exam centre district from 15 June 2026 on the CSBC website.
For this, candidates will have to visit the official website and enter the required login details. This facility is useful because candidates can know their examination district in advance and plan travel accordingly.
The actual centre address will be mentioned on the e-admit card. Candidates should read all details carefully after downloading it and immediately check whether their name, registration number, photograph, exam date, timing and centre details are printed correctly.
What If a Candidate Cannot Download the Admit Card?
CSBC has also issued instructions for candidates who are unable to download the e-admit card from the website. Such candidates can obtain a duplicate e-Admit Card from the CSBC office in Patna.
The duplicate e-admit card will be available on 26 June 2026 between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM from the Central Selection Board of Constables office at Harding Road, near Secretariat Halt, Patna – 800001.
Candidates visiting the office must carry a photocopy of their application acknowledgement and a valid photo identity card. They will have to appear in person and collect the duplicate admit card at their own expense.
Documents and Instructions for Exam Day
Candidates must carry the printed e-admit card to the examination centre. CSBC has clearly mentioned that candidates without an admit card will not be permitted to enter the exam centre.
Along with the admit card, candidates should carry a valid photo identity proof such as Aadhaar card, voter ID, driving licence, PAN card or any other acceptable government-issued ID. The name and details on the ID should match the candidate’s application and admit card details as far as possible.
Candidates should reach the exam centre within the reporting window, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Since the exam will begin at 12:00 noon, late entry rules may be strict. Candidates should avoid carrying restricted items such as mobile phones, smart watches, electronic gadgets, notes, books or any unfair material.
What Candidates Should Do Now
Candidates preparing for the Bihar Police Constable Operator written examination should now treat 28 June 2026 as the final revised exam date unless CSBC issues any further notice. They should track only the official CSBC website for updates.
The immediate priority should be to check exam-district information from 15 June 2026, download the e-admit card from 22 June 2026, and verify all printed details as soon as the admit card is available.
With the revised date now confirmed, candidates have a short but clear preparation window. They should revise the syllabus, practise objective-type questions, check previous recruitment patterns where relevant, and keep their documents ready before the admit card release date.
